Robotics

With the help of our awesome School PTA group and our Whirinaki Kahui Ako we have been able to purchase some LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Sets. We have a Robotics Club from Year 5 to 8 who meet up at a lunchtime.  

This year we entered the Regional Competition for the First Lego League at Lucknow School with two Year 6 teams.

This years challenge was entitled Superpowered.

First Lego League challenges children ages 9 to 16 to think like scientists and engineers.  Each season the team will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Project.  They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using the Lego Spike Prime App.

Throughout their experience, teams will operate under Core Values celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism.
